Back-to-School Event is BACK!

This year's Back-to-School event will take place on WED, August 21, 2024 and we are EXCITED to announce that our registration for the School Backpacks and Supplies Registration is now OPEN!!

DETAILS:

Date: August 21, 2024 (Wednesday)

Time: 10AM

Location: Vancouver First Church of The Nazarene  (998 19th Ave. E,Vancouver, BC V5V 1K7)

Participation: This backpack event is for only for registered families. No walk-in is accepted.

ELIGIBILITY: 

️Students from kindergarten to grade 7 can apply every year

️High school students (grades 8-12) can apply every two years; if you applied in 2023, you'll be eligible again in 2025 (if you are not sure, don’t worry, we can help to check for you!)

️If you are a guardian for the child, please submit a legal document verifying your guardianship, such as a court order or guardianship agreement

• If you have already received a backpack from other organizations this year, please consider giving others a chance to receive a new backpack from us. By freeing up a spot, you will allow us to support more families in need. Thank you for your kindness and understanding!

DONATION:

• This event is made possible by donations. You are welcome to donate any amount you can (every bit counts!) at our location to help us continue this program and help more families and children including the Christmas Toy Shop.

Please reply to the following questions in your email/phone call:

1. Have you visited TSA Boundless Vancouver in the past two years (2022 or 2023)?
2. Have you applied for our Back-to-School event before? If yes, in what year?
3. Please confirm that you are a Vancouver Resident and you meet the low-income guideline (please review the guidelines https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/t1/tbl1/en/tv.action?pid=1110024101)
4. Parent / Guardian’s legal names
5. Child’s Legal Name / Date of birth (yy/mm/dd) / Grade / Gender
6. Your Contact Information: Phone  no and  Email address

• If you are a guardian for the child, please submit a legal document verifying your guardianship, such as a court order or guardianship agreement
• If you are new to TSA Boundless Vancouver, please submit the following documents (an in-person interview may be arranged if necessary)

1. Photo IDs (applicant and children)
2. Proof of Address (BC Hydro, any bills, rental agreement, etc.)
3. Proof of Income (2 months bank statements)

Due to the limited supplies, we will accept applications on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Thank you very much for your understanding.
