Pilot Project
Boundless Academy is a new community initiative focused on providing subsidized English language courses for refugees/immigrants, low-income families, and marginalized individuals in the Vancouver area.
Our twelve-week English course is an intensive in-class language course that is focused on preparing young adults and students for job hunting, college and universities. There are 90 hours of material and activities to grow your academic skills and prepare you for that next step in life.

Course Instructor
Iraj Khabazian
Iraj has been actively serving at The Salvation Army Boundless Vancouver as a volunteer and tutor since 2020. Iraj possesses a B.Sc. degree in biochemistry from Simon Fraser University. He was a researcher at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver General Hospital and has published many research papers. More recently, he completed specialty training in forensic investigation - science at BCIT.
Iraj also worked with the Vancouver School Board for six years in an advisory role and advocated for individualized learning. He has represented students and parents at the local school level, school district level, and at the provincial level with the Ministry of Education.
Iraj is of Persian/Armenian descent, a father of a beautiful daughter, an active Christian, and speaks English, Farsi and French. He is currently learning Mandarin.
He loves teaching and making a difference in students' careers and personal lives, producing confident students and proud parents.
Families and individuals can hire Iraj for one-on-one (online or in-person) private tutoring sessions at a going rate or at a sliding scale.
