Each June we bring women from Vancouver to The Salvation Army’s Camp Sunrise for a weekend of worship, laughter, and breathing room on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

Camp Sunrise for Women

Women’s Camp is a short, soul-filling retreat at The Salvation Army’s Camp Sunrise in Gibsons, BC, created to help women step away from the rush, meet with God, and build life-giving friendships in a safe, welcoming setting.

Overview

Time: Weekend in June (Friday–Sunday). Exact dates are announced each spring.

Location: Camp Sunrise, 1377 Burns Rd, Gibsons, BC, a short ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay.

Eligibility: Open to women connected to Boundless Vancouver and friends you’d like to invite. (If you have questions about eligibility or specific needs, reach out and we’ll help.)

Cost: Fees vary by year; typical rates are in the $165–$200 range, with subsidies often available. (e.g., $200 in 2025; $165–$195 options in past years.)

What to Expect:

  • Encouraging sessions, worship, and prayer

  • Unhurried time for conversation, journaling, and rest

  • Meals and cozy cabin lodging on-site

  • Optional camp activities and waterfront walks (weather permitting)

How to Join: Pre-register with Boundless Vancouver; we’ll coordinate your spot with Camp Sunrise (spaces are limited and fill quickly each spring).

What to Bring: Comfortable clothing and shoes, Bible/notebook, toiletries, reusable water bottle, light rain layer, earplugs/sleep mask, and any medications.

Accessibility & Care: Tell us about dietary, allergy, mobility, or rooming needs—we’ll work with camp staff to accommodate wherever possible.
